An explanation to the techniques I've used in the project.
Camera:
The scene beings with a Pan movement which shows the characters bedroom in a very wide shot view to show how girly it is, in respect to this her age is clearly depicted which appears to be mid teens.
The next close up also further signifies her young age.
The low angle shot of the father bursting into the room shows how he is authoritative and in charge, which further elaborates that he is older in age.
Whilst the two characters are making conversation the male character is always towering over the female character and the female character is always on a low angle which shows how she is younger and immature, whereas the male character is in charge.

Mise-en-scene:
The location of the characters bedroom reflects a girly teenage vibe that stresses on her age.
The female character has light makeup on and is wearing a modern young costume that reflects on her teenage days.
The male character has wrinkles on his face, has facial hair and wearing formal clothes which show his old age.
Warm lighting in the scene reflects on the amount of drama being conveyed which wakes the viewer wake up and further emphasizes on the wrinkles on the male characters face.

 Sound:
The ding on the phone shows the text message that sprung up, which is something modern day teenagers do which highlights on the female characters young age.
The monologue portrays the characters to be young as she is talking to herself about a boy she likes, this makes her modern and of todays day and age.
The dialogue between the two characters clearly shows that the male character is in charge due to the authority held in his voice heard through the mode of address. Even though, the female character is young, she is seen being disrespectful to her dad, but the relationship between the two shows how the male character is the father and is in charge and older with respect to age.

Editing:
The first eye line match or POV shot is seen when the phone dings and on the screen it says that it is a message from ‘BAE’ which shows that the female character is modern and of a young age.
A cut away is seen when the dad barges into the room mad, this gives emphasis on the fact that he is in authority and he is in charge, which further shows that he is older in age.
In the shot reverse shot next, wrinkles and facial hair in one character is seen but not the other, this creates juxtaposition and stresses on the difference in age.

The last eye line match shows how the female character is much lower than the male character as he towers over her when she nudges him and walk away, this shows how he is older and she is fairly young.
